Spiker, can you make 3637-3639 textures? They are similiar to your 3641-3643.

I will lift my sorry ass tonight and pull together all the updates which you guys have posted so far here, including the Polymer lights for DUKEDC1 and DUKEDC2. Will also try to include the green font from the HRP thread for this.

SwissCM himself made a green font at some point. I don't have a link with me at the moment, but that's the one you should use.

I will try to remake these textures. The textures I made earlier probably need some revision but I still have the source files and I could work on some models as well. Now I should have more time and hopefully I will become more active again. Yet this weekend I have my postgraduate studies.

I hope that my mental disease won't put me down again.

In the meantime, I have released v1.52 - FINALLY! ;) To-Do List has been updated in order to reflect these additions.

Changes are the following:

> Added:
     - dukedc\screen\fonts: greenfont13 added (2929-2965/3002-3009/3022 based on
                            1.3D Redfont by SwissCM)
     - dukedc\sprites\props: 3585-3590, 3593, 3594, 3606, 3618, 3619, 3624, 3625
                             (flask models)
     - dukedc\textures: 3637-3639, 3641-3643 (with normal/spec/glow maps)

> Maphacks:
     - dukedc1.mhk: Polymer lighting added
     - dukedc2.mhk: Polymer lighting added


Get it from the HRP download site as always. Trying to get Thundik81 mirror updated as well.

You used the wrong greenfont. SwissCM made a better one himself, and he must not have sent the link to you. The 8-bit tiles will not work at all as the one you have now stands because the palette was not taken into account.

There are two sprites (618 and 620) from original duke .art. They are not used in original game, but used in dc and they need models. Where to put them: in polymer's hrp or dc's hrp?

I guess since #618 and 620 are outside the "Custom Art" tile range and, as you write, part of the original Duke3D groupfile, the models should be posted into the section for the normal HRP. You should always use latest Polymer HRP for DukeDC as well, so people will soon be able to see this ingame one way or the other.

Maybe you could make some models for Nuclear Winter Plus, and Duke Caribbean Plus. Santa Duke, and Vacation Duke are needed.

Updates for main hrp and dc. Have no idea whats on 620 sprite, so temporarily used 1088_reactor.
And you can delete liquid_empty.png from flasks folder.

That's a tall order, especially considering that the Duke model is due for a revision sometime soon (or so I've heard).

I think it's fine. To be consistent I looked at some door that Roma did and his version was also darker than the original. Remember that in theory all textures should receive some light from a maphack or other light source which doesn't apply to the original art hence it's brighter Attached Image: Untitled-1.jpg.

3601. It has slight tileable effect but it's visible only at large distance but it should go unnoticed in game. Not sure if there is a way to improve this, some textures currently in HRP also suffer from this problem. Probably if I didn't mention this noone would even notice:P

DC uses some more files from original arts that not used in original game.
Also, 4th level looks terrible. Maybe it will be better to remake it and include in hrp?

empyrock, those tiles you got in that file are all part of duke3d.grp file. Therefore, anything you do about those should go to the Duke3D HRP repository, not that of the DC HRP. :dukegoof:
And I dunno about DUKEDC4. Maybe the original creator of the map can be contacted (I am sure its written somewhere who it was) and then might give permission to edit and re-include it. Personally, I would feel uncomfortable messing with other people's work, regardless whether the addon is now abandonware or not. That glitch is annoying ofc, but it does not make the map unplayable.

I think #3720 is not used in the addon. If you use GRP Viewer, it will yield no result.

If someone knows how to do that, would be cool! xD First, it has to be determined whether this is a glitch which was initially done during creating this map or whether it is something eduke cannot handle for some reason.
BTW, I am curious about #3760-64. Would be really cool if we got a model for the Capitol, that would look much better than the sprite (it only needs to be in a reduced size anyway since it is meant to be a background decoration). But the most fun should be the Bill Clinton model. It's probably also the most difficult one, so I guess it will be the last addition (if it ever happens). ^^

Billy can be challenging but it also can be a perfect model to improve your skills. More stuff is on the way, I've made a buckler and it looks pretty good, tomorrow I will create some sword hopefully:)

That looks like something that would only happen in polymer, or does it happen in polymost too?
