Aw man, I extracted the ssi file, made a grp, downloaded the Duke DC hrp then started eduke with the dc grp, duke hrp and dc hrp, but when I want to play there are only the 4 original episodes listed there, so I can't select DC. What did I do wrong, someone please help!

The DC episode is defined in a CON file that should be inside of your dc grp. I think you have to add a command line when you start the game that tells it to use the dc CONs.

-gDC.GRP -gDC_hrp.zip -xDCGAME.CON

Those file names are just made up and may be wrong, the important point is to try using the -x command to make it load the right CON.

Duke it Out in DC has only a user.con, it doesn't have game.con and defs.con. Thus only the /gDC.grp is enough, or -gDC.GRP -gXDUKEDC_HRP.zip for hires.

if you create a folder "DUKEDC" and put DC.GRP and XDUKEDC_HRP.zip inside, then from eduke32 startup window you can select this folder everytime you want to play Duke it Out in DC.

note: duke3d_hrp.zip should be in autoload folder

Sadly None of your ideas worked, but I've figured a way out. I've extracted my dukedcpp.ssi to a separate dukedc directory where I've put the dc hrp, and selected it in EDuke, and now it works. I don't know why EDuke did not do anything with the packed grp file in that directory, but at least now I can play it .

I think that you should search the forum. In the past I created patches for Duke It Out In DC and Duke Caribbean Vacation, that convert .ssi to working .grp files.

I searched my account at mediafire and found the files:

dukedc_patch.zip
http://www.mediafire...php?grkdglhwnry

vacation_patch.zip
http://www.mediafire...php?ljduvmtmzlm

the patches need the .ssi files that are for the Atomic Edition of Duke3D

Um, I put the .mhk files for the level in the dc folder and I still can't access the levels. How do I access the levels, because right now it works but I keep getting booted back to the main menu after I select the difficulty. Please help quickly, anyone!
