Duke 64 mod thread

I don't know what to show in the first post, so I will post some screenshots.
I have re-created the status bar from Duke 64, I did them all (you can switch using '+' and '-') and you can also change the scale.
Screenshots from emulator:
Screenshots from Eduke32:
Here is the Mighty Boot:
HRP:
For who may be asking for a download, I have leaked an old pre-alpha there, but I don't like it anymore. I n00bed too much in the CON, so I did a new one from zero. And that "version" ended up with some patches not from me.

Ah, I've got some fond memories of Duke64. It'd be nice to play it again, and it looks like you're recreating it really well.

Personally Duke Nukem Zero Hour was FAR SUPERIOR!!! And considering that Duke Nukem 64 is almost an imitation of Duke Nukem 3d... why would you want to re-create it???

Right. I think it's worth it. Some have not had the chance to play it, it has enough differences to warrant a mod.

I asked on the amc a little while ago andwhy not recreate duke nukem zero hour? and ilovefoxes replied "it would take years to recreate it even with a full company" I think thats what he said? The only thing that I didnt like about duke 64 though was that its was cartoony. But it is worth a look as some things IMO make a bit more sence.

Duke64 mod v1.32 (May 07, 2009) duke64.rar (18.97 MB) http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?ndnaik3mfjo http://www.mirrorcreator.com/files/BTP5MDYI/duke64.rar_links http://uploadmirrors.com/download/HKNTCXIV/duke64.rar http://www.multiupload.nl/B3G1K6TTIH MD5: 23287FBEF8916C65A1F8F04A24775BD0 Changelog since v1.31 (May 06, 2009): 4 updated maps by Nukey: Spaceport (64L08) Dreadnought (64L16) Overlord (64L17) Lunatic Fringe (64L18) Note: Make sure to compare the MD5 checksum of duke64.rar. The first three mirrors (mediafire, file2upload, sendspace) should be ok. If you have download problems check also the other mirrors. Duke64_updated_maps.rar (538.06 KB) http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?wjjgzz2wkwh http://www.mirrorcreator.com/files/ZNGTIUUX/Duke64_updated_maps.rar_links http://uploadmirrors.com/download/1O2EOMLH/Duke64_updated_maps.rar http://www.multiupload.nl/2PUUIR7LM3 This unofficial update is for Duke64 mod v1.32 It includes the 5 updated maps released by SomeThingEviL + his updated art file (needed for 64L19 map).
As I said this is an old and unsupported version that I modified it a little and added the updates from Nukey and SomeThingEviL
The new version that Ilovefoxes is working on has major changes in many ways, plus it has new and improved code and polymer support. I'm looking forward for the new version.
[Edit]
Removed old mirrors, added new.

Is this still in development? Sorry to go grave digging but I recently remembered some of the cool changes and I thought of this.

If you don't want to play this, you should shut the f*** up and b**** to your mom or something instead of moaning and trying desperately to get this project shut down. The changes to each level and the weapons, I find, greatly improve overall game/level design in comparison to stock PC version.

Actually, while I am here; Atlas; if such a thing doesn't materialise you could always modify the .con files for the mod to still load the same maps (Unless it breaks the textures somehow).
Anyhow, and nice mod guys, I might give this one a play when it comes out, because the only problem with Duke 64 was that it was on the N64, and I much prefer to play on the PC - and I am not about to use emulators.

Seriously, you really need to change your dealer. Other than that learn to quote messages you reply to if they don't precede your message directly.
