[RELEASE] Super Mario 64 - Snowman's Land  "Another map based on a Super Mario 64 course."

#1

This map is based on Snowman's Land from Super Mario 64; I suppose it's a kind of prequel to Wet-Dry World although the two maps don't have a whole lot in common design-wise.
Basically, by the time Duke arrives, the aliens are in the process of terraforming the area as they see fit, causing stuff to melt and collapse and all sorts of shit to hit the fan; to stop things from getting even worse, Duke basically has to blow up some equipment that the aliens have set up. (By the way, this map has, by far, the most SE13-driven explosion effects out of any map I've made up to this point, although that's not exactly saying much.)
This map uses TROR all over the place (especially some very tight TROR scissoring in and near the igloo); I've encountered problems with the way collision detection interacts with certain types of TROR boundaries, but I'm calling that an engine issue instead of a map issue.

Played this one as well, it was much more straightforward than WDW. I did encounter some TROR-related bugs, where sometimes the "invisible" TROR layers would show with that texture you use instead of tile #0 as the default, they wouldn't block shots, but cover the view - particularly when jumping from the glass platform above the purple lake to the other side of the lake and at the area with 2 commanders above the place with red key lock. The secrets seemed much more difficult to find in this one (or to access - in particular the ones at the elevator ride). Of course, the main highlight of the map is the giant snowman in the middle, which is a cool structure of its own. The combat felt a bit static most of the time and once again I had to shotgun a battlelord. The weapons at the beginning could be a bit more exposed, I didn't find the devastator until going through that area for like the 5th time - on the other hand, I liked how you had to grab the first RPG from right under the battlelord's nose to kill him.
