Yap, not to mention that TX has been improving the support for DukesterX in his EDuke32 releases.

At least I build some nice deathmatchmaps which can even be run without the JonoFport. None of the small amount of dukemappers build multiplayerlevels anymore. Well, at least I do.

It's great bloody fun, that's for sure! It's still more fun compared to new DM games.

Yes, the concept is really a lot more fun than today's games because the levels are interesting, the weapons fun (shrinker), and you have insane running speeds.
However, today I'd rather play true 3D games since they are more fair (no bugs on slopes and with sprites and all, like the tripbombs only exploding when you pass through the laser if you saw the tripmine on the wall first, that's an annoying bug). That's why I hope DNF's multiplayer will be like Duke3D's (with shrinkers, tripmines and devastators) because it will be true 3D then. I hope 3D Realms doesn't come with the popular "we concentrate on the singleplayer" excuse because I don't buy into that anymore (except when the game isn't suit for multiplayer anyway, like Hitman,or when the multiplayer wouldn't be anything extraodinary, like No One Lives Forever). But for games like DNF there sure is potential for the multiplayer, so they simply can't come with the "we concentrate on the singleplayer" excuse. They should concentrate on both They permit themselves to take their time anyway Prey did it well by incorporating the wallwalks and vehicles into the multiplayer. Doom 3 could have done better, for example there is a map where you can trap the player in a gas chamber that squishes the player (like in Alpha Labs - Sector 4)... there should be more things like that, the interactive computer screens are perfect for that.

That, and the Shrinker...
And freezer, and shotgun... and the Pipebombs...
And mighty boot...
The game has too many great weapons for me, to only like one...
