More VR  "Oldschool fps in VR"

Hi guys :P

I have been VR owner for 3 months and i really enjoy this new platform. But then it hit me, what about all these oldschool fps? Can some of them be played in vr?
I found a version of gzdoom called gz3doom that can play Doom in vr. And even mods for Doom like Brutal Doom and Deathforetold. Then i got some brutal versions of Heretic, Hexen and Strife to work.
I even found a TC of Doom made into Blood!! It has all the 4 episodes and the 2 expansions. It is awesome in vr!!
But then, what about Duke??
It also has a VR version and it is really great!!! It is made Malcolm.
But now i only need 2 more games to complete my collection.
Shadow Warrior and the new Ion Maiden.
But none of them works with the Eduke32 version I use for Duke Nukem 3D VR.
If Malcom is on this forum or you know him, could there any chance if he could convert his work from Duke to SW and Ion Maiden??
Or do any of you know some tricks to make SW or Ion Maiden run on Eduke32?

AFAIK Ion Maiden is powered by EDuke32.

I do not approve of "DukeVR". It introduces Windows- and Oculus-specific vendor and platform lock-in.

As far as I know, there is nobody working on VR for those 2 games you asked about.

So if the older DukeVR is the only choice and is working for you I "approve" it. Its better than nothing.

Tacking VR onto any existing FPS games, including old ones will only serve to turn it into a dizzy novelty - especially when you consider trying the typical roided up "pro-style" ol play.

I played a special build of GZDoom with Google Cardboard with my phone. It's pretty neat.

You have your opinion. I'm a little more open minded for modders to try new things.

I've tried DukeVR and it was - honestly - the best and most impressive VR experience I've ever had. I guess for people with weak stomachs it would be unplayable, but other than that it absolutely works to "tack on" VR support.
Not approved? Well, it's all there is.

While Duke VR and GZ3Doom are pretty neat, the lack of decoupled camera makes the experience miserable. Aiming with your head is a no go for a VR game.

I disagree. Maybe not optimal, but not a "no go" - it works.
