The ".DMD" files used by the Doom HRP v1.0.1 from Doomsday HQ forum (or New Doom forum?) and is part of a complete model. If you want "Study" and try to open the file i can give you a one .DMD, it's the body of a Cacodemon.

Attached File  CacodemonbodyDMD.zip (26.8K)

Ah, okay. I'll ask my friends from the Doomsday project about those.

Hey, another one of TX's old avatars.

What is LOD? Is there any way that it can be used with MD3s, since MD2s are deprecated?

md2tool converts models from md2 to dmd and dmd to md2. it's a command line tool the works in windows macosx and linux.
I suggest using it to convert the model to a md2 andthen import it into blender3d using blender3d's md2 import script

md2tool > http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.p...ckage_id=139217
blender3d > http://www.blender.org/
