Inconsistent User Map directory

This one is minor in the grand scheme of things but it does become noticeable if you go on a user map binge.

When selecting the user map "episode," you're taken to the root directory. This makes sense. If you have maps stored in a sub-directory and you navigate over before selecting one, this is where things get a bit...strange.

Sometimes, most commonly if the level is aborted, selecting "User Map" again takes you to the same directory. ...but sometimes it takes you back to the root directory instead. Sometimes even beating a map will take you to the sub-directory, and other times to the root.

I'm not sure which is the intended behavior, but I've not been able to figure out what circumstances yield which result with 100% accuracy.

I can confirm having experienced this behavior while testing AMC levels, though I was never sure if it was really happening or whether my mind was playing tricks on me.

Testing this with AMC, I observe the following behavior:

  • If you launch a usermap in a subdirectory, and then open the usermap menu again, you will still be in that subdirectory.
  • Closing the usermap menu without selecting a map will reset it to the base directory.
  • If you launch a usermap that is defined to be part of an episode, then opening the usermap menu will send you to the base directory.
  • Finishing the usermap will also reset the position to the base directory.

Edit: Also, if you have a subfolder called "usermaps" it will always open this directory instead of the root.

That's the thing though. Sure that's what usually happens, but that isn't what always happens. Sometimes completing the map will still have me in the subdirectory instead of the base.

Another case I can see is that if the map ends via a boss (e.g. BOSS1) and the ending screens are shown, the directory also isn't reset.

Edit: I discovered the reason for the inconsistency. The variable that is used to track the subdirectory actually contains a reference to the `boardfilename`, i.e. the usermap filename, which is not reset in exactly the cases I described.

Edit 2: As of r9483 the usermap directory should now be remembered properly.
