Duke 3D XXX Pack

This is the most complete XXX pack for Duke so far.
It combines works from Pigeon (Duke Nukem XXX), Dan Reames (Duke Nudes X), and a lot of new stuff from me, and includes XXX tiles for OG Duke and all three official addons.

This fits the niche of titillating nudity in FPS games that I find...interesting. :(

Excellent compilation! Any plans for Penthouse Paradise tiles?

I just checked youtube gameplay, and I don't think you can remove any more clothes from these sprites.

Ah yes, I should have specified. I meant looking up the original photos and using the more high resolution versions in-game.

But when I type it out, it does seem like a lot of work combing through old issues of Penthouse to find them/convert naked ladies for just one extra mission. :(

Might of been me, I stalled out when I could no longer find the original poses.
Seems like some of the poses came from photoshoots that ended up on the cutting room floor and were never officially released. Sure I could find similar poses, but not the exact ones used in PHP.

I also wasn't satisfied with how the color gradients were turning out

Taking a look at the defs of your mod, I see that you are using an ifcrc parameter in tilefromtexture which I have never seen before. It's also not documented in the wiki yet.

This is quite interesting since like this you seem to be able to distinguish between different versions of the same tile depending on the groupfile used (Duke3D, DukeDC, Caribbean etc). I assume the CRC value is the one from the actual tile that's supposed to be replaced? If so, how is it determined (considering there are several ways to dump a tile from a groupfile, e.g. as PCX, BMP, PNG etc)? Asking since this could also be interesting for other projects, e.g. Fox's skyboxes.

I would assume it’s the CRC of the raw tile (since the most likely case would be for it to be loaded from an ART file)

I see. How is it obtained, though? I am still using Roma Loom's GRP Viewer for checking what's inside of an art file and afaik it doesn't come with a CRC checker.
(While we are at it: I guess I should use SLADE by now, works fine for Doom and Duke3D, it seems...)

BAFed can show tile's crc https://m210.duke4.n...rt-files-editor
But I'm not sure if crc check works for anything but tileformtexture.

I saw someone had the original Penthouse artwork, but you'd have to adjust for the palettes and such. But for the sake of consistency when using a HRP for other things, it would be nice for the Penthouse artwork to get high-res updates.

It would be interesting for someone to create an HRP expansion for Penthouse Paradise.

The babes already look like cardboard cutouts in the original, can you imagine how they'd look in hi-res?

That was my objective. My intent was to re-make the 8-bit sprites better quality and provide ~4x "HRP" versions as well.

Haven't logged into this site in years, good to see my xxx pack is still being used for something! like damn I made that shit back in early high school I think, now I'm 26, how the time flies... I'll have to check out your updated pack, it looks great!
