You have unlimited stamina in Shadow Realm now; I haven't done anything to Oil Rig section so I'm not sure why you're having performance issues there.

Oh okay, I was starting to think it had something to do with the unique Katana we get there >_>
Well it beats me for the performance issues, in the case of the AMC Base I'm sure it's because of some of the stuff you added in but for Oil Rig I got no idea O_o In old Ep2 only the rain brought a bit of issue but whenever I get close to the elevated structure and especially when I go down the stairs under, it becomes utterly unplayable T_T While in old Ep2 that section actually lagged less than the surface.
I'm starting to think it could possibly be due to the new EDuke32 or maybe the fact it's not the build that was originally planed to be used ... I'm not even trying 64 because lagging in Base was worse.

LOVING Episode 3 so far! Granted, I'm still kicking around in the Cairo levels, but I've already found one of the artifacts, so my time has been significantly easier than expected (PLEASE tell me one of the four allows you to swim indefinitely, though...running out of oxygen after what feels like half a minute is a friggin' pain).

And yes, it's a bit surreal (and cool) hearing my voice as Le Sang.

I hope you will be able to provide more voice acting, I was blown away by the quality of it (especially compared to our cringeworthy stuff)

One last thing I forgot to report earlier, it's about City Under Siege.

Somehow the first door of the storage, after we killed the enemies at the beginning, doesn't want to open O_o I was thinking it meant I was to open from behind through the vent but I found no way to open it, so in the end I had to leave the footsoldiers behind. Is it a glitch or did I miss something ?

I don't know what happened there, but I've fixed it regardless.

I'd definitely love to provide more voice acting for future installments! It was awesome, and it was an honor to voice Le Sang.

I just want to share, I re-beat all of Episode 1 and the changes are noticeable, for the better. Except for a certain character's absence but I can live with it (I only say this because the line "all of us are here" sounds odd with just two people [James and Sang] present, everything else flowed fine though). And giving... that one character a voice, is a HUGE improvement (I'm still trying to avoid spoiling this genius mod for people who are experiencing it the first time).

Except for the Revolution level, I even found all the secrets again, including the new ones, so I'm happy about that. In Revolution, I could never find the second one, the only one I could find was the one forcefield room that requires the toolbox. One day though, I'll get it.

Onto Episode 2, aka "The REAL Shadow Warrior 2".

First secret is very close to the start, in the alley way facing the palace - you'll need to do some jumping, but look for a vent :)

also glad you enjoyed the changes to Snow! I should of changed that line yeah, but other than that I'm happy with it.

My feedback of Ep2 is almost complete, only the all of the Marsian missions remain.
However ... Zeta Base, near the begining ... that purple trooper behind the forcefield ... BAD, just BAD, this should be changed because I was barely 15 minutes in and the little bugger spawned almost THIRTY freaking drones ! THIRTY !! And he's unattainable at this point of the level.
Really he should be changed ! I'm not the overly complaining type but this really took the piss on me >_> Sorry ^^

Also playing an EDF mission sets you on the filter of Episode 3 even though you use another filter, no big deal but still. I tested out Big Orbit and Complex 2 in order to have James recover from Providence (13 missions in total for him to recover) and it was nice though Complex 2 has way too many hidden switches ... Was the occasion to test Snowfall as well but I'll keep this for the feedback.

Currently bumming around Neutrino, trying to figure out where I need to use the blue keycard.

Is there anything in particular I need to do after leaving the airlock?

I haven't played it yet but from what I remember from the old version you used the blue keycard on the reactor itself with the enviro suit but things probably changed since then ...

cпасибо comrade. All this time I was looking in a red herring area. It was the part after blowing up a wall with C4, right before the transition to playing as James in that level. Where the FAL is in that corner, I thought I had to jump on those boxes and find something in that burned-out hollow building (I was wall-humping, jumping around for hidden secrets high up in the walls like the ones in Duke Burger or Raw Meat), turns out I was overthinking it. Hooray, that's every secret in part 1.

...now to attempt the same in episode 2. For ep 3, when I get to it, I'll just be content with beating it first.

Having a lot of fun with the new episode!

Couple things I noticed, though: you are able to get the magic bracers twice in Cairo. If you get the ones in the treasure room second, it cancels out the first and you no longer have unlimited stamina. Also, I think one of the blocks that you have to push with the bracers for the secret with the nuke is set in the wrong position. The secret is open, and when you push the block with the bracers, the secret closes.

Hi, I want to get in some feedback while I have time.

I really like how the weapons have been redesigned. James' new weapons feel so much more realistic and tighter. The crosshairs are very well detailed. The lens flare in the Egypt section is so cool. I loved the story on the ship in Geoffrey's map. Snowfall's pistols that use both left and right buttons to fire both sides is awesome. It's hard for me to really remember everything, but I can say overall this episode is just amazing and the mod is truly getting better with every release.

I hope this isn't an annoyance. I just wanted to point out a few bugs I noticed:

Congratulations on release this really amazing episode.

I played through the main story of episode 3 and what should I say. I'm impressed! This is what shooter games should be today.

I notices some bugs that I would report

Spoiler

And in general. For some reason I have in nearly every map lags. Can someone confirm this?

I can't seem to kill these 2 enemies in the Xuglop mission. When I shoot, all my bullets just go through them. Is this a game-stopping bug? I can't figure out what else to do.

Damn, I thought I fixed this - weird thing is it never happened for me. It's not a progress killer, just grab one of the batteries and dump it on the conveyor belt by the blue light. It'll switch back to James and you can carry on, leaving the pitfiends there.

Good news: I finished Neutrino.

Weird news: despite having done several EDF missions, the AMC Squad's budget is -1 K.

I'm hoping the budget goes back to positive levels when I finish the remaining story missions....also, despite the seeming dip, I can still afford gun upgrades for the squad.

Hmm, does anyone else not have a working statistic screen? I remember some pretty detailed stats (down to how many bottles of alcohol consumed), but now I just get a blank screen. I don't even see any achievements anymore, either (...I'm losing exactly zero sleep over achievements but still). I remember them working just fine the last time I played (before Ep 3 dropped).

(PS: just finished Jungle Base again and *holy fart* I'm glad it's over)

two different budgets

getting weapons upgrades from the arms dealer is pocket cash that the player earns for doing things like kill enemies during missions.

the character loadout screen, the satellites & factories on the mission overlay map, and project research in the lab all come from the base budget which is earned through factories and completing missions

- did you not notice that adding all those upgrades on the loadout screen cost money from the base budget? stop jamming every upgrade onto a character before it does a mission. Its costing you more to do a mission than you're making from it.
Keep it up and the bank is going to repo your AMC base.

Heh, imagine burning down the AMC base for the insurance money, assuming you could make it look like an accident or something Posted Image

Fantastic story with Snowfall's map. If that's the final map, then the mod seems quite shorter than Episode 2, but maybe that will change after I go back and do Chaos Sphere.

One bug I noticed.

I would have thought Episode 3 was about on par with Episode 2 in terms of length. It’s certainly a fair amount longer than Episode 1.

How are you judging length? Episode 3 has fewer “missions” than episode 2, but the missions are typically much longer, especially the Egypt hub.

that's not a bug Radar, that's his alt-fire - it turns it into an auto-turret :)

Yeah I definitely feel like ep3 is on par with if not longer than episode 2, especially if you do the extra stuff.

Speaking of Neutrino I have a question.
In the old User Map version of it there used to be 2 empty research projects but I found nothing in the regular map of today. Are there research files/modules to be found or is it a glitch caused by the old user map ?

it's just sprites placed as decoratives that's all.
