Where are the sprites stored?

I looked in DUKE3D.GRP in both Roma Loom's GRP viewer AND SLADE, but I can't seem to find all the sprites other than a few sprites and textures. Where are the sprites all stored?

They are distributed among the files TILES000.ART through TILES019.ART within the GRP. ART is a custom format that Ken designed, as with GRP files.

So TILES000.ART is more than just a stone wall texture?

You could have been ?less?more? helpful and linked him to editart...

I use M210's BAFed to work with .art, also there are command line tools I like if you into dosbox, ART2PNG

It's C#, you wouldn't want it

(also the extract app is hardcoded to a specific input folder and does not work with GRP files.)

DukeRes is also a good program to work with the .art files. I found it very intuitive.

tilearts stores textures, sprites, etc.

Combining Tilearts and Duke3d.def you can make HRP stuff.
