Today I installed Duke Nukem 3D (original CD version) on my old 1998 PC. Just for fun and nostalgia...
Anyway, the game run fine and the sound is also working but I can't get the music to work. I tried all the music card options. Soundblaster should have worked I guess. It did for all the other sounds...
Any ideas? The motherboard is an old HP D9840-60001 (Pentium 3 mb) and audio device in device manager is Crystal WDM Audio Codec. Drivers are working properly anywhere else. GPU is RIVA TNT2M64.
Also OS is Windows 98 SE.

Did you try General Midi?
Are you running it by just clicking DUKE3D.EXE?

Holy Cow... It worked lol... Yesterday I had red message error when trying general midi, even after restart.
Thanks for the help anyway! Works perfect now : D
