Bit of a bump, but I noticed that your launcher doesn't have a toggle option for autoaim. A lot of other great tools are available though, great on that. And, if you can't really get around to it, could you tell me which config file I should apply -noaim? I can't seem to find it. Thanks, and great job on the launcher.

I will add a toggle for it.

Isn't there an auto aim option in the in-game "options" menu? You can turn it off in the options menu.

I'm fairly certain there isn't, but I'll check again just to be sure.

EDIT: Yeah, it's not there. I don't know if something changed with the GOG version or what (I know the level change cheat codes used to bring up a level select window (I'd like to see a screenshot of what it looked like, haven't been able to) when you used to type in calgon or mario, but now it incorporates the desired episode number and map number in the same code line instead), so it might just be another thing that got changed.

Skulldog, if you're busy and can't produce another release, can you point me to the config file I'd need to modify to add -noaim?

Do I have to do this in the Daums DOSBOX itself, and not the blood launcher menu? Thanks for making this awesome tool.

Sorry, I had some pc upgrade problems. and was down for awhile. You can copy over the new Daums DOSBOX files to the SVNDAUM folder.
Change the resolution, and shader filters in the Daums DOSBOX itself.

DOSBox SVN Daum is outdated and has bugs. Instead use the latest DOSBox-X, which is based on DOSBox SVN Daum, but it has many fixes and improvements since last DOSBox SVN Daum release.

DOSBox-X source

Compiled binaries by EmuCR.com

I think the SVN Daum needs to be phased out and replaced w/ DOSBox-X. I tried SVN Daum on Windows 10 and it doesn't work well.

EDIT: Scratch that.

My performance in Blood actually went down when using DOSBox-X rather than Daum :D

Just encountered a similar problem to Octobane in that the main Blood game (OUWB in my case) works fine in Windows 10 but none of the TC/Addons do, with the game trying to load, pausing for a moment on "initiating sound system" (which gave me a clue) and then dropping back to the Launcher menu.

To cut a long story short, the problem was that in the Dosbox sound setup screen, the Gravis Ultrasound sound emulation was shown as enabled. Disabling this fixed the problem. After testing I went back into Dosbox sound setup screen and disabled all but the sound card I was emulating (SB16). All works fine now.

Just thought I'd pass this on to help anyone else who may be having the same problem.

Skulldog. I found a problem w/ the Shareware version 1.11 of Blood. When I start it up. It runs two games at once. Can you fix this please?

Nice to see new versions being released, but it seems that the launcher still doesn't have an option for auto aim disabling. Also just realized (can't believe I didn't draw the connection before on it being futile) that I can't have my edits to blood.cfg actually do anything because the launcher overwrites it each time it runs a game. Thanks for helping in the past, too.

Will add a No Auto Aim Check box, but to enable it you will have to uncheck the box before starting a game. The default setting will be disabled.
What config settings are you changing on the Blood.cfg that can't be changed in Options menu?

While I was moseying around in the BLOODA folder, I found the blood.ini 'sample' and copied the auto aim parameter from the 'options' section and went back to the main Blood folder, opened blood.cfg, and pasted it under 'options' in that.

The BLOODA folder is just the alpha version . May or may not work with main BLOOD.

Well, it seems like a parameter that wouldn't change, seems that the launcher overwrites any changes and uses strictly what's set inside of it. So if auto aim is always default and the launcher has nothing provided for it, it stays that way while overwriting the config? Guess only time will tell.

To download big files you have to create an account. Although it is free to register, still this is a restriction.

Without an account you cannot download big files.

I use the "Download through your browser" option. But you have to install an Mega.co.nz addon for it. That way I don't have to sign up for it.

I'm very grateful for what you've done, this launcher is the best gift for fans of Blood.
If put the latest version of bloody pulp fiction and final alone in the dark mods into the launcher would be great.

Did not know bloody pulp fiction and final alone in the dark mods had been updated. Will look into that.
