The first one is ITSGREEN.MID. The second is named PLASMA.MID and it is noticeably different from the final XPLASMA.MID. The third is an early AHGEEZ.MID.

There is more, including FRAGILE.MID. I particularly enjoy beta Gotham. B)

Does the beta code show what these indicator-looking things on either end of the status bar were supposed to do?

The BLINKER sprites glow when you're running. Either always when auto_run is on, or when you hold shift.

That barcode thing being removed is pretty reasonable imo since Duke never had them in DN1 and 2.

It's just a double-barreled SMG, not a shotgun. The pigcops seem pretty strong there, wonder how they can hold all the recoil with just one arm B)

EDIT: Is that pigcop getting knocked off by the explosion?

The Pig cops fell back in TerminX's video when they were shot, and so did the Enforcers sort of. It's an early version so the video has the pig cops shoot the pistol sounds as placeholders.

That's not a valid comparison to make since the one in the video is before there was a shotgun in the game, and both pieces of media you just referenced are from after the shotgun was added and given to the pigcop.

There might be a couple. Sounds are one area I've personally yet to delve into, though I doubt there are THAT many... Duke talking wasn't actually implemented into the game until 12/15/1995.

I noticed someone was lynched here because he asked something without having read the 25 pages of posts first. So I hope I´m not the case. From what I read I understand that you got access to a lot of cds with betas and unreleased material, even of games like Prey. Is my assumption that you now have access to the DNF 2001 Alpha wrong? I know that if it was the case you´d be legally unable to show it. I just want to know.

I wonder if there is any chance in hell they could buy back the rights from Gearbox.
The fact there was no documentary made showcasing all the different versions of Duke and interviews about what happened when etc is a damn shame

My guess is no. They'll probably ask some exorbitant amount for them back that neither 3DR nor Interceptor will be willing to give.

As someone said earlier, if 3DR plays their cards right, all they have to do is wait for the nice people at GBX to repeat their success with ACM a few times and it may just be a real possibility.

Gambini - and they say they are going to let us have a play with it as well. All the Blood, DNF, Prey and Doom stuff is off the table due to copyright, but everything that 3DR has control of is supposedly going to be shared.
