Attempt of making a realistic overpass. It ended up looking a lot like Roch 6.

So far this is just a plain structure, I shall add some curves and stuff in the future.

Do those books actually tell us something we don't already know?

You better be releasing that stuff in a map some time Fox. I wouldn't mind checking out that overpass in mapster.

Had a quick look, so it was basically just all the technical information that can be found elsewhere. I was kinda interested in reading something along the lines of this from the description:

But I couldn't find any of that anywhere, just technical things. Probably would have been crappy, outdated advice anyway.

Some of the "tips" by levellord are pretty redundant.

Want to see a book which got me interested in Duke mapping in 2007? I discovered it in a computer class at school. I took the book without asking the teacher and never returned it :P

I released a couple of unfinished things. But the 5 other projects I'm involved with haven't been released yet. But I have posted a bunch of screenshots in various threads. I hope at least one project is finished before I'm too old to move a mouse. :P

Project Blue Skies , Decay , WGR2 sequel , Graveyard , and an un-named 5th one.

The 2 unfinished ones I released are Ancient Rome and a dark, polymerized map based on a Doom2 moonbase map. I think it was called Doom2remake. Real clever name.

They live. Slowly but surely they are still being worked on. Decay hasn't decayed yet :P

Here are a couple of pics from the graveyard. They are shrunk and compressed for file size but still OK.

For the heck of it I'm going to say that you can post Decay shots if you'd like to as well. It's an old enough project and doesn't really have any secrets. If you have any questions before you post one you know where to ask :P.

Yes it is. I was running low on original zombies after putting them into the Decay project. The other creatures in the Graveyard are not zombies so I'm not 100 percent sure this one will be in the final version. But after creating some normal and spec maps for the skins it looks so cool and scary in the game I might keep it. Who knows.

As far as I know, this could only be done with TROR, since sprites can't be sloped.

Am I wrong?
Please correct me if I do so, cause I need to learn more for mapping. :P

Since I updated to the latest eduke on the main site, recording demos seems to mess up certain decals/sprites like bullet impacts and such in DukePlus so I removed my demos, and I noticed the background more, so I decided to make a new menu background in photoshop using some filters
