via George Broussard on Twitter:

Working on DNF credits with Joe Siegler (pretty much company historian). Quite the stroll down memory lane.

this is awesome for so many reasons...

I cant wait to see those credits in the end ;)

Good to see GB has something to do with DNF. I'm sure the deal with GBX that T2 made specifies that GB must be kept as far away as possible from DNF ( ;) ). I also know a lot of people have resentment towards him, but he is one of the biggest parts of the stone that gathered moss that is DNF. He needs to be included in this game in some shape or form.

That's really cool , this would probably be a 5 minute credits reel of awesomeness haha

They could make interactive credits or something funny , so people won't be skipping them heh.

Yeah. This game will have one long-ass credits reel. I suppose they'll have to include the name of everyone who ever worked on the game.

actually not that big i guess. the biggest issue dnf had, was that the devteam was always too small ;)

Credits on a separate CD.

You know this reminds me of the game Max Payne 2 where they put the easter egg of the two cops: Broussard and Miller. Miller ask Broussard how why he can't spell his own name right and Broussard remarks how it's about the "job, not about positioning" saying it will be done "when it's done."

I always laughed at that part.

Hope you like Valve Time! Something tells me you'll be waiting a while.

Nobody knows how far into production Duke Begins was, but give them to time to get the expansion pack going (unless they farm it out to a sub-developer) and then it's back on. Maybe two years...?

Hopefully everyone ever involved in the project along the way is going to be listed. Will be a very long list if they do! ;)

Not happening. If DNF is even half as interactive and amazing as GBX are suggesting, it would be difficult to top that with a game that has only been in development for 2 or 3 years. That's one of the advantages DNF has with it's long development time frame. It also means they had many years to come up with every joke and other thing in the game. Sure, they can match it, but I suspect we'll be waiting a while for the next game.

Unless DN5 = GBX taking Borderlands, reskinning it with pigcops and making Duke the lead character. They can call it: "Dukelands". I bet you'll love that! ;)

It's a Valve L4D2 joke. ;) (in reply to Descent's post)

I wonder if anyone asked to not be in the credits.....

Why not? Being in the credits will surely help with finding a job. Charlie was saying that to get a job he had to create stuff on his own since he couldn't really show anything DNF related.

National pride is inversely correlated with how you really feel about your country.

I considered it, but then realized that would mean I'm being an ass more than anything else. :(
