Episode 5. ------------------ N\A (The Cube) : Note. In this level, you are banned from using TabMap. However you can circumvent this huge handicap by pausing the game. Note. Doom64Hunter made a video walkthrough of this level, you may want to look it up if you have doubt on the hints. Note. This level is composed of Colored Rooms. Every color has a meaning. Some colors mean there is No Trap, others mean there is a Dodgeable Trap, and others mean Instant Death. In order to dodge a trap, you must perform Diagonal Jumps from ramp to ramp. This list will indicate the kinds of traps to further help with Orientation and difficulty management. Important. Bright Neon Green Rooms act as Teleporters. To use them, step at the Center of the room and Jump in place. WARNING, there is ONE possibility that will trap you in between 4 Instant Death Rooms and NO ESCAPE, be sure to follow the Hints or the Video accurately ! _Go Right, into a Red Room (Spike Trap). Go Left into a Deep Blue Room (Spheres Trap). Go Right, into a Neon Green Room (Teleporter). _Go Ahead TWICE, into a Blue Room (Safe) and another Neon Green Room. Go Right, into a Red Room and go Left, into a Deep Blue Room. _There are 2 Doors to choose from. Go Right, into a Yellow Room (PigCops Trap). Go Ahead TWICE, into a Brown Room (Giga Time Bomb) and a Neon Green Room. _This time, Jump at the Center TWICE. Then go Behind you, into a Yellow Room. Go Ahead TWICE, into a Neon Green Room and a Blue Room. _Go Ahead again, into a White Room (Safe) with a BattleLord. Go Left, into a Neon Green Room. Jump at the Center TWICE. _Go Ahead, into a Red Room with Green Ground (Dodgeable Instant Death). Go Ahead to take the Red KeyCard. Go back into the Neon Green Room and jump at the Center. _Go Right, into a Red Room. Go Ahead into a Neon Green Room with a Blue Energy Wall on the Left. Jump at the Center then go Right, into a Red Room with Green Ground. Go Left, into a Neon Green Room. _To reach the Secret Area (Important to not get lost between the Video and these Hints), go towards the White Lights. Jump next to the Center of the Room and imediately move Back during your jump. If the Message doesn't appear reload your save and re-try. _Go into a White Room with lots of 5th weapon ammo. Go back into the Neon Green Room and Jump at the Center TWICE. _Go Right, into a Red Room with Green Ground. Go Right, into a Neaon Green Room, Jump at the Center THRICE, then go Ahead, into a Red Room. _Go Right, into a Blue Room for the Yellow KeyCard. Go back in the previous Room and go Right, into a Blue Room. _Go Left, into a Neon Green Room and jump at the Center ONCE. Go Behind you, into a Grey Room (Dodgeable Explosions). Go Left, into a White Room, then Ahead, into a Red Room. _Go Left, into the Starting Blue Room. Go Left, into a White Room. Go Right, into a Deep Blue Room and go Ahead into a Neon Green Room. _Jumo at the Center ONCE, and go Ahead into a Dark Blue Room (Pit Fall). Go Ahead, into a Brown Room. Go Right, into a White Room then Left into a Neon Green Room. _Jump at the Center ONCE and go Left, into a Grey Room. Go Left, into a White Room (Safe) for the Blue KeyCard. Go back and Right into the Neon Green Room of earlier. _Jump at the Center ONCE and go Right, into a Blue Room. Go Left, into a Yellow Room. Go Ahead into a White Room. Go ahead, into a Red Room. _Go Ahead into a Neon Green Room then Ahead again into a Yellow Room. Go Right, into a Neon Green Room, then Left into another one. _Jump at the Center ONCE and go Left, INTO THE EXIT !!!!!!!!!!! ----------------------------------------- Area51b : Note. This is the same level as the secret in Episode 1, however you will be set on a completely different path. _Progess until you descend Brown Stairs. You will see a small White Console. Use it. You will use a bunch of these, so make sure you identify them. _Service Access Delta is the room in front of the Inverted 7 Door, at the end of the corridor with the Cells. Q Door is in the same corridor, Transport 2 Downstairs. _After the Yellow Teleporter in a Red Room. Follow Enemy Spawns in order to obtain the Blue KeyCard. When you go back outside, locate the Ladder on the Dark Building and go Left onto the Reservoir and into the Broken Vent. _You'll reach the Beginning. Use your Red KeyCard and go in front of the Yellow KeyCard Door. _Go into Service Access 2 and press the Switch. Go Right when leaving this room. _When you used your Blue KeyCard, go Right to press a Switch. Don't bother doing the platforming, you'll waste your time. Backtrack all the previous steps you've made to the Yellow KeyCard door and into the Briefing Room. _In the Command Center (tower) you will use a small White Console (there are 2, the other one is for later). Delta Switch. Go back through the White Glassed Hallways. (Left when you are near the Office doors). White Console in front of the Shield Switch. _Dilligently explore to find ALL Switches. To use the Red Ropes, stand on them and either hold Crouch or tap Jump. Watch your health VERY closely, the insta-kill ground tends to "steal" you health even though you didn't touch it. _Follow Enemy Spawns until Office Gamma. You cannot go through one of the White Hallways anymore, you will take a detour through the Outside area, like you previously did. _Don't forget to use the White Console next to the Blue Slot. Go back to the Central Command (tower), the second White Console is located against one of the White PCs, an Atomic Health appeared in front of it. _To reach the Service Access you unlocked, go through the Alpha door and go outside. Climb the Ladder to the White Reservoir and drop on the other side of the Fence. Go to the Yellow Teleporter Pad at the Building, you activated it previously. _Reactor Core is in the same corridor you're at. _Escape Sequence. The goal of this sequence is to reach the small office in front of which you popped outside early in the level. You will remove the Huge ForceField surrounding the Base and you will escape by the Road. Note. You have 5 Minutes to do this, and it is quite tight ! Lots of enemies have spawned throughout the base and you're going to have to take detours. Therefore, be as quick as possible, and make any encounter as brief as possible. _Follow Enemy Spawns through the White HallWays. You are to come back to the Beginning of the Level. The 2 Switches near the big door are now accessible. Use them and go to the big door on the opposite side which opened. Use the White Console and remove the Chip on the Console. You have disabled the Huge ForceField around the base. _Go back through where you came from. Turn Left before the Briefing Room and go downstairs. Press the Switch to re-open the Transport Door. Go through the Outside Area like you did previously. In the corridor go straight ahead to the Yellow Teleporter in a Red Room. Turn around and follow the Road until the level ends. -------------------------------------------- Alien Sanctuary : _Find the Red Switch amongst the Yellow Dots. Climb up to the first hole, second is for later. Switch, back to Beginning. _Super Tall Room. Go down first. Maze, go Right for X Switch. Back to Beginning. _You can go on the far Left between the Blue Bubbles. Egg Room, use Central Teleporter for a Switch, then come back and use the other Teleporter. _Go to the top of the Green Room with Red Ropes from the first Hint. Switch. Descend, exit and go Left. _After pressing the Switch, go to the Orange Bubble Room at the bottom of the level. Blue KeyCard, go use it in Blue Bubble Room near the Beginning. _Red KeyCard, go back to the Maze at the bottom. Go Left twice to go above the Maze. Closely inspect the walls to find the Red Slot. Easy to miss. _Backtrack in the Maze and take Left again. In the Second Doors, go into a Vent. _Corridor, Switch to open the first door on the Right, follow. Vent in Green Bubble Room. 2 Switches. _You are to backtrack up to the Blue Bubble Room. Go in the hole in the middle. Switch, bottom of the Super Tall Room. _Go up the Green Bubbles for a Switch. When you take the Teleporter Back, a room opened on your Right. Follow Enemy spawns. _Red Tree Room. Go ahead and then Left and Left again for the Blue KeyCard. Backtrack and take the other path. Then back to the beginning for the switch. _Follow enemy spawns. Yellow Key Card, you are to go to the top of the Super Tall Room. Switch, middle of said room. _Train Sequence. WARNING. This sequence is timed and failiure to accomplish the objective will force you to go back to Episode 4. Therefore, be EXTREMELY careful if you save. NOTE. You are to explore the various wagons of the train in order to find 3 KeyCards to use at the Locomotive. However, this is VERY time consuming and dangerous. Don't waste time trying to find objects and fight enemies. _Go into the Tail Wagon in order to initiate the Sequence. Count the Tail Wagon as Number One. Wagon after the Golden Bars is Number 9. You will find the KeyCards you need in wagons Number 10, 13 and 15. _Once you have used the Cards inside the Locomotive, go out and climb onto the front of it. There are 2 steps to destroying the Locomotive and winning the sequence. No order required. 1_Step in between the 2 undestructible Green Turrets and shoot at the Green Flesh which is periodically protected by a wall. There is a Safe Spot by crouching on the side, just above it. 2_Look closely at the ground for a Round Vent. Destroy it and constantly shoot at the Sphere hidden inside. Evacuate once both steps have been fullfilled. --------------------------------------- Aerial Tubes : NOTE. There are tons of BattleLords in this level. If you wish, you can negate their threat by using the MuddleLizer (weapon 7). Won't kill them but just as if. _Globally, this level isn't too hard on the part of Orientation, given the limited amount of possibilities you have. You normally don't have to come back to an area you have pressed an important switch in. _After you pressed 2 Switches in front of each other in the Blue Corridor, turn around and to to the other end of the corridor. _After the Steroid Jump Challenge, you are teleported back to the very beginning of the level. Look closely to the Right, in the Blue Walls lie a Switch. Follow Enemy Spawns. _At some point enemy spawns will lead you to a closed door. Follow the new spawns until you see a Big Black Square on the Left. Yellow KeyCard, go back to the very door. The Yellow Slot has appeared. _Blue KeyCard door. All doors are timed. In the room with 2 BattleLords, the door that opens is the one at the beginning of this area. _BOSS. Don't bother trying to hurt it, you can't. All you have to do is dodge its attacks until it decides to quit. _Follow Enemy spawns to a Red Wall. The Red KeyCard Slot is just in front of it. _Red Maze. Use TabMap, it's not too complex. You should go to the Right first for a few Switches. You will be teleported out of it at the end. _BOSS. This time you can destroy it. Just shoot with your strongest weapons. ----------------------------------------------- Death Dimension : _Red Box Maze. From the entrance, go up and slightly to the Right. Blue KeyCard will be on your Left slightly below you. _From the entrance, go Right and climb as high as possible. Remember where you had found the Blue KeyCard, as the Red KeyCard is located at the same place but a lot Higher. _From the Red KeyCard, you should be able to see the Yellow One and the path to it. From the Yellow Card, go straight ahead to the opposite wall and descend as much as possible, slightly to the Left. _BOSS. To kill the first boss in a snap of finger, go to the side, shoot a rocket at the Red Dot and step asside. The boss shoots rockets when hurt, if you hide on the side, it will basically kill itself. _Golden Cubes Maze. Go through the Cubes in order to modify the configuration of the rooms and open new paths. Certain rooms can be accessed in several different configurations, and their layout can give hints as to the configuration of nearby rooms. This puzzle requires A LOT of patience and Attention, Analysis. _Your objective is to find the Blue KeyCard (located in a room close to the beginning) and use it to open a ForceField which houses a Cube opening the last sets of room. _To obtain the Blue KeyCard. Step into the Cube in front of you. Jump to the Cube that appear on the Right Corner of the room. Come back to step on the previous cube. Then step into the 2 other cubes of the room and again on the center one. The path to the Blue KeyCard should be open. _Step into the center Cube and then the Right one. A passage should appear behind the Left one. You'll see 2 cubes. Step into the Left one. Circle around the wall that appears next to you into the corridor (avoid the cubes). At the corner of the starting room is a gap. Jump to the new passage with a BattleLord in it. _Step into the Cube and backtrack through the corridor just before (avoid cubes again). You should see a new passage with a Green Trooper inside. It looks like a dead end but there is a Cube inside. _Once you stepped into the Cube, go step into the Left one again. Go through the corridor to step into the cube on YOUR Right. It will open a room in front of you with a Green Trooper and a New Cube just behind him. _Step into the center Cube, then jump to the corner of the room to step into its Cube, then back onto the center one. The room behind the Left Cube should open again, on the Left of the room should be a ForceField. Use your Card. _Step into the Cube of that room, then come back. Step into the Left Cube. Go into the path next to where you just came from. Step into the Cube and backtrack, a brand new room should have opened where you arrive. _Step into the Cube of that new room and follow the path. Step into the Cube at the end and backtrack. Step into the Cube. _Use the corridor to go back to the first room (avoid cubes). Step into the Center Cube and the one in the corner that appears. A path shows up just next to you. _Step into the Cube and follow the path to another one. Step into the Center Cube, go in the room that opens in front of you. Go left to step in the Cube. Come back and go into the Left Cube. Follow the path next to where you just came from for its Cube. _The back room that opens now has blocks allowing you to step into the Cube above. Use the corridor to go back to the First Room (avoid cubes). Step into the Cube on YOUR Right to open the room in front of you. _The back of that room is now open. Follow the path AND YER DONE !!!!! _Yellow Path. Go Left first. Go Right at the next intersection. _Blue Maze. From the beginning, just keep hugging the Left Wall all the way. It is the simplest way to find all Switches. When you pressed the last one and heard an explosion, go back to the beginning and go through the Left path again. _BOSS. The boss is EXTREMELY sturdy. Destroy its White Walls in order to render it inoffensive and use your Patience with that spinning platform. _Giant Spinning Platform. The 3 KeyCards are together at the center of the platform. You will begin the obstacle course at the Bright Red Structure. _Once done with this section. Intergation Mark. Platforms are always in front of you. Use your Reflexes to not overshoot them. _Red Corridors. Go Left first after having climbed a bunch of enclosed stairs. _Once you defeated the final boss, a Hole has appeared in the middle of the beginning of the level. ------------------------------------------------------------ Kihntron : _This level relies A LOT on enemy spawns to guide you, so be very mindful of it. Notice that every door has a color in this level. Blue is open by default, Yellow is relatively easy to unlock, Red and White are hard to unlock. _Like in previous levels, doors have symbols and are unlocked by switches with the coresponding symbol. Since there is enemy spawns for pretty much every switch, there won't be many hints. _After you went through a Blue Lit corridor, don't miss the switch in the door on the Right. _Don't miss the Switch that is hidden on the Desk with a Blue Lamp on it. _When you obtain the Red KeyCard, just drop down and go Left. After the Slow Elevator, don't drop down yet. And don't miss the V Switch behind the White Shelves. _Afterwards, in the room with a bunch of weapon 3, 4, 8 and 0 ammo, Switch on the angle of the table near the 0 ammo. _Later, after a slow elevator, destroy the Plant in front of you to reveal a Switch for the door next to you. _BOSS. Shoot at the Blue Gem on its forehead. When there are explosions, resume shooting at the same gem. When the face is dammaged and starts breathing fire, shoot at its Mouth. _Later enemy spawns will look like they are leading you to the beginning of the level. In reality they are making you go through a detour, through both Slow Elevators. You are in reality going to go to the White Door behind the Blue Door which is in front of a Yellow one, just before (or after depending on your path) a Blue Lit Corridor. _When you are lead to the Green Box, near the beginning of the level, you are to destroy it with an explosive. _Room with tons of small bottles, be careful with the Switch ! It LOCKS a door. Make sure the message reads "Unlocked". _Switch near a Screen that shows statics. No enemy spawns this time. Go back up the Slow Elevator. When you exit into the corridor go Left through the Blue Lit Corridor. Go Right in order to cross the second one. Go straight ahead until the penultimate dooe on the Right. Then go Left. Last door on the Left is the one you unlocked. _Once you pressed the Switch, exit and go Right, Right and Right again. In the corridor, look on your Left as you walk, there is a Switch just next to the door with big Green Squares. _The door you unlock is just before the Blue Corridor. Yellow KeyCard, just go nextdoor. Yellow Slot. Enemy Spawns both Left and Right in the corridor. You are supposed to follow Right, but the path will be blocked. Therefore go Left first until the very end of the corridor. Press Shield Swtich, then go the other way. _Secured Area Switch. Enemy Spawns will lead you to a Door with a Shield. To remove it, just go Right, last door on the Right. Red KeyCard. _Go Left and upstairs. Left, Right, Left through the Blue Corridor. Take the side corridor and then go Right to take a Slow Elevator. Take the door on the Left. Note, since there are 2 ways to reach this place, there may be enemy spawns elsewhere, don't get lost because of it. _Take the new Red KeyCard and use it right away. Backtrack what you just did to the Yellow Door on the Right after the Blue Corridor you took earlier. _BOSS. Shoot at the Head until it's destroyed. Then shoot at the Brain near the Ceiling. Don't forget to claim the 2 Enhancement Chips for your hard work. -------------------------------------------------------------- Escaping Kihntron : NOTE. You have 4 minutes to evacuate. You must go back to the beginning of the level. The timing isn't too tight BUT there are A LOT of explosions which can quickly kill you if you're not careful enough. _First go ahead all the way until you reach the Slow Elevator at the end of the corridor. _Try to go up to the beginning of the level, but the door will shut in front of you. You must backtrack what you've just done in order to reach the Other Slow Elevator. _Then go Left. Go through the Blue Corridor. Take the Second door on the Right. Go Right for the Teleporter. _Follow the path. A special door will open on the Right, in-between 2 windows.
