Polymer lights not working

I just downloaded the latest eduke32 version, when I ran it the first time the polymer lights were working (e.g. muzzle flash lighting, and lighting from fires). When I ran it the second time no polymer lighting can be seen at all, I've tried disabling polymer and enabling it again but it just looks like the normal game now without polymer even though it is enabled.

Ok.. seems the problem occurs after playing the usermap called "the rock". After playing that I need to delete all the cfg files each time.

In the 2 " The Rock " cfg files is a line of code to disable the Polymer lights. The autoexec.cfg is the one that runs all the time and is giving you the problem. The other cfg file will run only when playing The Rock but it will still change your settings for the next time you play any other map.

I'm confused, and too lazy to investigate on my own. The Rock is a map that requires polymer -- why would the author include an autoexec.cfg with it which disables polymer's best feature?

Using TROR with reasonable frame rate, maybe.

I am not trying to mess with people's Eduke config settings. If I have messed something up by including my own autoexec.cfg I am sorry. Maybe I should just include TheRock.cfg and leave out the autoexec.cfg, if it replaces the global config as I was not aware of this.

I believe the setting that disables Polymer lighting is R_PR_LIGHTING 0 you may need to enable this setting which can be done in the console or via the autoexec.cfg file by using: R_PR_LIGHTING 1

In my opinion, TROR is polymer's best feature =)

Tekedon - If there is anything I can do to help please message me. Maybe make sure when you fire up Eduke and you're not playing The Rock make sure you don't have the selected content folder set on The Rock folder when you launch Eduke from the launcher menu.
