The casino map plays a track from the original game, it was of course in one of the casino levels. The third map plays a borderlands theme until you reach the town where another DNF track is used. Can´t remember the fourth map, and in the dam you hear a very old song until you´re about to reach the boss area, that last theme is from a call of duty game.
Sorry i can´t be more specific but i suck at remembering names, yet i hope those are good guides for you.

The damn Dam track is another Vectorman song, this time Stage 3/Stage 12:
The final track is apparently from Battlefield 3, but I only know this because this ogg file happens to have proper metadata:

Apart from the DNF trailer themes, the rest of the tracks are from DNF itself.

Thanks. I only knew the DNF tracks, the others were new to me.

That's fucking kickass. Superb track.
For no particular reason I was reminded of these two soundtracks, although the styles are vastly different.
The game is pretty bad but the soundtrack is cool as hell (Jesper Kyd, so yeah).
I even like this game, I'm no kidding.
I have a soft spot for 90s gaming techno, cheap or otherwise.

I know that tune but i was talking about the DLC level pack of the mod when you start on the first level kicking some alien bastards in a strip club "like in the picture" and then after getting out of the strip club you go picking up the bike.
The music file is called 1998.ogg if i remember correctly and i never find out the source about it. Also thanks for the reply.

You know, I don´t remember where Micky got it from but it is a track from the original game, that´s sure.
Edit: Check this piece of soundtrack and skip to about 10:34. It´s not exactly the same excerpt, but it´s almost there:

I can't remember the name of the track, but basically if you extract the music from the game, you get a big folder of approximately 30-second tracks with weird names, and 1998.ogg is one of those renamed.
Kind of annoyed that all the music tracks in the game are so short. Nothing wrong with long, memorable tracks like in Duke 3D.
The only other track worth using for a map is the one during the Octaking fight.

Also the mod is awesome and you guys nailed it ! It's almost like a dream interpretation if DNF was released in 2003-2004.

How did you know about the music if you haven't played the DLC? Youtube videos? IMO the DLC is arguably better than the core mod since it's less reliant on/isn't restricted to DNF references.

I was talking about the original game's DLC "the doctor who cloned me" not the mod one.
