Bobby Prince did the title theme for ROTT, as well as two in-game tracks that have his distinct style (Work Day and Excalibur).

It's not unlike him to reuse his own songs, though I personally don't see the connection with the tracks you linked. Here's some examples:

Rumba (Blake Stone: Aliens of Gold) – Adrian's Asleep (DOOM II)

Mourning (Blake Stone: Planet Strike) — Nobody Told Me About id (DOOM)

Prince uses the same format a lot with 90% of his songs (I, IV, I, IV, V, I, or some similar variation) too. A lot of songs are going to end up with a lot of similarities with that formula. In this case the notes and scale are similar, though. At the very least it was probably written in the same vibe. I don't think he particularly referenced that theme, though. I think that's just much of his style.

Oh yes, a while ago I even wanted to discuss what I called "the Bobby Prince theme", based on similarities between some tracks — but now I've forgotten which ones gave me that idea

On a somewhat related note, when listening to the Stargunner soundtrack I had occasional reminiscences of music from Duke3D's fourth episode and also Shadow Warrior.

BTW, I remembered the tune/melody pattern that seems to recur in at least some of Bobby Prince's soundtracks:
Doom II - The Healer Stalks
Rise of the Triad: Dark War - Excalibur

Both seem to stem from Wolfenstein 3-D - Get Them Before They Get You (albeit with different tempo).

Also Blake Stone: Aliens of Gold - Strut seems to have a more or less similar pattern as well.
