Duke Xtreme - glitchy weapon graphics?  "It has never happened before, and no files were changed"

I've been playing the Duke Xtreme maps on EDuke32 using the add-on installation guide. EDuke32 has always been able to load the levels without issues.

But when I played Duke Xtreme today, all of the custom weapon graphics have somehow become corrupt. This does not seem to affect the main game. I checked all of my game files, and none of them have been changed. I deleted EDuke32 and installed the latest version, but the problem persists. I also tried different graphics settings, but it didn't help either.

Has anyone else seen this problem? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

The contents of eduke32.log are as follows:

Check for loose ART files in your game folder.

I don't have any .art files in the folder, but I did find the cause. It turned out the problem was with the "Custom game content directory" option. Setting that to "None" solved the problem.

Thanks for the response, though!
