Hey guys, I mentioned this over in another thread, but it might merit a place here too.
1)Does anyone know of a way to fix the horrid mouselook in Blood for a windows 7 64 bit PC? BMouse gives me the always fun "not compatible with your version of windows" nonsense and the One Unit Launcher just flat out refuses to work.
2) The larger problem is that the damage I'm taking radically increases if I reload a saved game. As someone else put it....
"The zombie will hit you for (the number in brackets is after the load game):
11 hp (36 hp) - Still Kicking
15 hp (27 hp) - Pink On The Inside
18 hp (18 hp) - Lightly Broiled
22 hp (22 hp) - Well Done
26 hp (12 hp) - Extra Crispy

Has anyone ever ran into this glitch before? I basically suck at fps games (I'm playing Duke on the lowest difficulty level and doing okay) and the glitch essentially makes the easiest mode one of the toughest. I tried playing on the middle setting and gave up pretty quickly... the pitchfork doesn't even knock a zombie down!
Any ideas?
ETA: I wrote up the title before realizing the difficulty scaling was the main problem. If someone could change the title that'd be great!

Reason for edit: fix title per user request

I went ahead and fixed the title for you but I believe normal users can change the titles of their own threads by using the full editor on the first post.
Are you sure you are doing it right? bMouse is supposed to be run from within DOSBox. Did you follow its instructions? (Protip: Until DOSBox v0.75 comes out, use this version for Blood and other BUILD games.
Also, since you have the GOG version, try this, which should help: http://www.the-postm...2&t=1920#p48054

Whoa, didn't even think to run it in dosbox. Just thought "oh, it doesn't work normally, won't work there."
Yep, works beautifully. And I was already using DOSBOX .74 to help with the framerate - a major performance upgrade and then some.
Unfortunately, the difficulty glitch is pretty damn miserable. Any way to combat it?
If not, I think I might just sadly throw on god mode or something. Damn shame too, if it wasn't for me wearing out my quick save button I had a great time with the first episode.
