Yeah, but I couldn't find my Hulk or Abomination model quick enough so this muscleman was a 2nd choice.

That's gonna be interesting to see. I've seen two versions of Wolf3d converted to the doom engine and I'm oddly excited to see it in the build engine.

I know of at least three, Laz Rojas WolfenDoom, AFADoomer's Wolf3D TC for GZDoom and CeeJay's Wolf3D TC for 3DGE

Really cool screenshot, Maarten - quite the unique look, terrain design, texturing. Feels pretty surreal - a new, standalone city map from you after all these years is going to be especially interesting.

For those wondering about Blast Radius, practical progress has been stalled for most of the last two weeks because I kind of foresaw that my inspiration was going to plateau. Been keeping busy with work and other tasks in the meantime, but at least now I've built up an actual idea of how I want to efficiently continue the second level instead of scribbling random rooms around. Sometimes you just gotta edge it to then better flood your map all at once with hundreds of new sectors and Pardon my French.

Screenshots of a mod (i think) i'm working on called 'Duke Nukem 3D:Blood And Ice'
It's (Supposed to be) A retelling of the story of duke 3d, featuring the backstory of the aliens' hostility towards earth.
but instead of one alien army, there's two. the blood army and the ice army. The blood army is bad, the ice army is good.
As of right now, it's nothing really special. it's only a small prototype featuring a few maps and some graphics.

First screenshot contains some computer that's been blown up, whatever.
Second screenshot contains some weird ass reactor core room, i don't know. with a reskinned devastator, dubbed 'Pulverizer Pistols'. Wow, how creative!

I'm not really sure if i will ever finish and/or release this mod, but i thought i'd just share it just because.

This is beefing up the rather bland looking Wolf3D maps quite considerably, especially with those mirroring floors. Might even make me play through the old maps again after a long time.

Yo yeah that's me - every time I've 'decided' to be inactive I've spontaneously become active again and vice versa. I've since given up and just go with the flow. Trying to find some spare time to continue working on an episode these days, wish I had more to actually play the maps people put out.

Again, looking forward to your map, I'm curious. Best of luck widdit!

Honestly, I think this room doesn't look as polished as the previous ones you posted, I think it would work better with proper texture alignment (bottom of the console) and lighting/shading (everything looks like it has the default value). In comparison, your other screenshots shared a 'minimalistic' style that worked in their favor and made them look appealing; here it looks like you'd have to spend just a bit more time on that room to make it consistent with the rest. That's just my impression and something I'm trying to bring to your attention if you're unaware. To me it really doesn't matter how 'basic' the design of a map is, but misaligned textures and default lighting are beginner mistakes that take little time, and are fun, to learn to do away with, and from experience a lot of players (who will give your mod a try eventually) also feel that way.

And about the console's 'misaligned' textures, i made it like that on purpose. i just thought it looked kinda cool.
the default lighting was a design choice for the room as well. the map the picture was taken in is just a modification of lameduke's L1.
