Edit Button?  "Hmmf Hmmf, Where is it?"

Maybe I have gone blind but I wanted to edit a few of my post's, mainly the first one of mine in this thread.

http://www.duke4.net...p?showtopic=798

But the edit button seems to have gone so I had to end up double posting, is the edit button only up for a certain amount of time after making a post?
If so could this possibly be removed so that moders and the like can add new download links to their mod's ect in the first posts in their thread instead of users having to go through endless pages to look for what they need?

Thanks.

(If the button is there and I'm a blind old man and can't see it. You can all laugh at me. ;)"

I have had the same problem a few times. After a while I can't edit my posts.

There was a 60-minute time restriction on editing posts. I've removed it for the time being, but I hope on one will abuse it.

You can edit your posts any time now. ;)

Thanks Yatta, I always hated time restrictions for post editing.

This is good because a lot of the times I want to add things to my posts right after, well, posting them ;)

It's easily one of the best changes. ;) Due to my dyslexia sometimes I edit posts almost instantly after posting them. I make lots of little spelling errors because of it... but I notice them very quickly.

Actually, Yatta removed just 60 minute restriction. You were able to edit posts right after posting without this change anyway.

I'm also edit my posts frequently because of spelling errors. Too bad you instantly get "the post was edited" in the message after that.

I have the same habit Damien, but it's probably not because of my aspergers syndrome, but simply because i'm a perfectionist sometimes...
