anyway, i'm kinda glad it's a placeholder. it's not spectacular, and doesn't really feel as grand as the Duke 3d box art. this looks like a joke if you ask me. (which is why Jobi's edit is very funny). if it isn't a placeholder maybe i can cross my fingers for a better north american box art. : P

Duke Nukem kicking ass on the Vegas strip with a bunch of dead enemies beneath him. It works with the Octabrains and Assault Troopers coming in from the background.

For old Duke Nukem fans, this game is already worth buying from default but for the 16 year old children that are used to jack their small dicks 5 times a day on internet porn due to being antisocial geeks that never saw a real pussy in their entire lives, this game needs a reason to get their money too.
All of the cod and halo fans out there that started their gaming life with crappy games, need something dumb and memeish to make them want the game.
This is where the omg pussy omg women factor comes into duke nukem forever's advertising.
The way I see it, this game is to them something illegal that they must have without their parent's knowledge

I don't know how old you were when duke3d came out, but i was 14-15 and well, it was "something illegal" not to share with my parents back then. Actually it was a big part of why me and my friends still remember it to this day as a special game.

Actually you will guess what they are when you are going to become a real gamer.
Think of my avatars as the test of your gaming knowledge. Once you know where they come from first hand, you will be a bit smarter.

You're damn right I am and I have every reason to be, though I wasn't in that post more than I am in others.
I really think that any real gamer should know one must fall 2097. At least on forums that deal with classic games such as duke 3D I expect to see more people knowing classic shit.

Well it was not that great of a fighter;).
We might know it just because we lived that era, but honestly its not someting i d tell any new kid to go and try out.
It received the praise it did just because it was the right game at the right place at the right time. Its engine was laughable from a competitive player stand point.
It was just the lack of any serious market competition that made it stand out a little bit.
