No, we dont know that. Science does not correlate that idea at all. Dreams are ultimately nothing more than the firing of random neurons, and our brain attempting to make sense of the random signals. Its not a reflection of anything deeper than that.

Science is not the end-all be-all to everything. Furthermore, no one knows for sure yet what the true purpose or meaning of dreams are. Your post seems to give the impression that they only have a physiological root, when there are many, MANY psychological factors that come into play.

Dreams do not have any meaning beyond what meaning we chose to apply to them.

yea dreams are crazy things anyway! some one tryed to tell e my reoccuring dream about all my teeth falling out is because i feel i have no controle over things in my life i dont get that explanation :) , think the fact i am actuly petrafied my teeth will fall out is better explanation! LOL
