Free software for recording videos from games

I am looking for free, good, stable and not hardware demanding software for recording videos from games. (Only full free ones, I know that limited versions of GameCam and Fraps are also free). Any help is appreciated.

CamStudio. It's not the best. It's all I can think of, though.

Hypercam 2 is now completely free, since Hypercam 3 came out. http://www.hyperioni...c/downloads.asp

I just tried out hypercam 2, and it seems to swap orange and blue colours around. It'll record eduke32 if that's what you want, but it'll look blue.

There's no actually free game video capturing software available, have a try Smartpixel Camera, it is easy to use and relatively cheap.

I just use VirtualDub's Capture AVI facilities. Not as elegant as fraps though, but it does it for me with the on the fly encoding and disk caching.

I found out that VLC has a basic screen mode capturing system in it too the other day.
