using map launcher in windows 7

I finally persuaded my wife to get rid of win98 and move up to windows 7. Problem is, how do I get map launcher to work with the different maps using eduke32. Or is there a way to play the different maps using eduke32? Thanks for any tips on this.

Well if you want to use usermaps, there should be an option in the episode menu of eduke32 named "user maps"
You put the downloaded usermap in the eduke directory and run it through the "user maps" selection in the episode menu

Is that a joke, or are you serious that you were on windows98 all these years :)

No joke, it's still a kicking. She's starting to complain more now with all the different errors when something doesn't work right. I got a new computer yesterday and getting it setup with her programs and then use a KVM switch for awhile until she gets use to it. It's been a very reliable system for a long time.

I don't see any thing for episode menu on the eduke32 startup screen. The original episode of duke will run, but that's it.

You won't see that untill after the game itself loads.
Select from main menu, first line says 'New Game'
The next menu screen lists each episode. The last line says 'User Map'
