I thought this could be fun... not something original, thou.

Do this in a 10 star/point based system.

Here is mine:

Hollywood Holocaust 8 - great, legendary level, but it's texturing dated a bit. wonderful secrets though.
Red Light District 9 - better than HH, great leveldesign, and boobs. maybe a bit too much cops here.
Death Row 8 - sometime frustrating, but it's a very well designed prison. yay for the tripbombs.
Toxic Dump 7 - love the shrinker puzzle and that factory in general. not a big fan of the underwater parts, but still, it's interesting.
Launch Facility 5 - mediocre level compared to the others here, and clearly worse than Area 51. the texturing is lame, the spaceship is nice.
The Abyss 9 - disagree with the level's haters, it's truly excellent, and builds the sheer frustration to the boss masterfully.
Faces of Death 5 - well, DM after all. it took time to discover the upper area.

Spaceport 6 - not that well designed and somewhat short, but also feels like a spaceport.
Incubator 6 - not a huge fan of this too. too much of the nonsense moments of Levelord (like the big pool area, which looks terrible)
Warp Factor 8 - took the best parts of Incubator, and it's a big nice easter egg. sentry drones rule.
Fusion Station 9 - great level, with a tremendous eerie feel to it. love the commander fight.
Occupied Territory 9 - another great level, and possible the most massive in the game. somewhat reminds me to Bob Travis' style
Spin Cycle 3 - not much, it's just for a MP. the cycling enemies are fun tho.
Tiberius Station 6 - the best part is the return of the toilets since Death Row. rather boring.
Lunar Reactor 8 - very good level with great music. makes Tiberius... somewhat redundant.
Dark Side 10 - PERFECT level for the moon. beautiful outdoors and massive level size.
Lunatic Fringe 4 - another MP bullshit. the 720 degree cycle is interesting.
Overlord 5 - disappointing at best, you could expect more from a boss level.

Raw Meat 6 - not exactly a fan of these type of city levels, despite it's ambitious locations in the karaoke bar.
Bank Roll 5 - still not a fan. also, is this a bank, or just some random sectors together?
Flood Zone 7 - better than the first two, simply because of it's style. well balanced underwater fight and rooftop mayhem.
L.A. Rumble 10 - simply perfect, you couldn't expect such outdoors from a levelord level.
Movie Set 4 - meh. I really disliked this one. looks like it's fan made with the moon conspiracy easter egg thrown in.
Tier Drops 2 - possibly the worst level in the game, barring Stadium. the point being?
Rabid Transit 5 - much much disappointment, or better said: missed opportunity. after the red key, it's nonsense stuff. only the starting station looks urban.
Fahrenheit 6 - not much again, it's pretty much red stuff, but has some nicer locations.
Hotel Hell 6 - OVERRATED level. the leveldesign is OK, but where are the hotel rooms? and it finishes where it starts.
Freeway 9 - the second best level in this episode. great AHB quality city.
Stadium 1 - how could you end your regular game in such an atrocious fashion?

It's Impossible 7 - the level brings lotsa new stuff in the game, which is great. but some locations aren't that cool, and very oversized.
Duke-Burger 9 - really excellent level again, which somewhat reminds me of HH and RLD. cool stuff.
Shop-N-Bag 8 - give levelord some credit. interesting, unorthodox use of enemies (like turrets). the sound is annoying, but feel shoppy.
Babe Land 6 - why this level is so cold and mechanical? no organic people, and lots of machinery stuff.
Pigsty 7 - really nice, although the car puzzle is badly executed, and could have been more "porky" in general.
Area 51 9 - beats the spitfire out of Launch... in terms of gameplay and leveldesign.
Going Postal 6 - professionally made, but looks like a homework map. the ending is cool though.
XXX-Stacy 4 - poorly made attempt to revitalise the weak stuff of E3. toxic pools next to babe stuff. meh.
Critical Mass 9 - the low scoring people know nothing, this baby is truly original and fun.
Derelict 10 - the BEST level in the game. period. true eyecandy, and great gameplay.
The Queen 5 - playing those awfully hard areas once is enough. not fun. the boss is great however.

Late edit: I added some commentary to the levels, also removed the half marks.

Well, I'm bored enough to do this;

Hollywood Holocaust - 7; Good level, but take away what it's famous for and it's pretty standard and beaten by others.
Red Light District - 8; This level is just that bit better than Hollywood Holocaust, 8-Bit boobs help it a lot too.
Death Row - 4; Poor level design and extremely boring gameplay, I often think of crappy '96 user maps as "Death Row maps".
Toxic Dump - 6; Some interesting mechanics and gameplay, but there's just something missing from it and it gets confusing.
Launch Facility - 9; Great level, looks and plays very well and has lots of nice secrets, the exploding rocket is always cool too.
The Abyss - 6; Boring and poorly textured, but the level design is rather good in this one.
Faces of Death - 2; Useless for Single Player and not that good for DukeMatch either, shit, more like "Feces of Death".

Spaceport - 8; Looks good and has some interesting "mechanics" in place.
Incubator - 6; Meh - that's it, I'd give it a 3 but the level design at the start just saves it.
Warp Factor - 6; Same as above, except the level desing here is good all-round, not a bad level at all.
Fusion Station - 6; Pfffff, lame.
Occupied Territory - 4; Changed to a 4 because the game always esses up on this level and I have never beaten it due to the key not working or dissapearing when I approach it.
Spin Cycle - 4; Same as Faces of Death except it can be fun in multiplayer.
Tiberius Station - 6; No, just no, where's y DNSCOTTY207 gone?
Lunar Reactor - 10; best level in the game, plays very well, looks very good and is very interesting to explore; best music as well.
Dark Side - 8; Nearly as good as Lunar Reactor but lacks in a few elements ranging from it being too open to being cramped, that and you can fuck it up for yourself and get stuck - which I usually do.
Lunatic Fringe - 5; Interesting gameplay mechanics but there isn't much else to be said for this one.
Overlord - 5; What you would expect from a boss level, possibly one of the oldest levels to be adapted and used in the game.

Raw Meat - 7; A little boring at times but good for the most part.
Bank Roll - 8; I like the level design, and I'd just give it an 8 for that Bobby Prince music.
Flood Zone - 6; Boooorrriiiiinnnggg! But I can't flaw the level design, except for that one glitch with the water that kills you.
L.A. Rumble - 7; Decent level all-around but nothing special about it, and that stupid elevator doesn't always work in V1.3 for me.
Movie Set - 9; Fun level and cleverly designed, I always like to think that I am destroying Uwe Boll's next film
Tier Drops - 8; Fun at first but it's really just a very clever gimmick.
Rabid Transit - 7; Pfffft again, screw the third episode, sucks overall.
Fahrenheit - 9; I like the feel of this level and the design is good in most respects, otherwise though it is confusing.
Hotel Hell - 10; Fun level and a good selection of enemies to Jib.
Freeway - 8; Never seen what the big deal is, very average level with nothing notable at all.
Stadium - 7; Typical boss battle, but the (lack of) design kind of sucks on this one.

It's Impossible - 8; Quick, fun and fairly well designed. Music sure went down hill though, where's Bobby gone?
Duke-Burger - 9; Always a good laugh on this one, those Pig Cop tanks suck though.
Shop-N-Bag - 9; Pretty much the same as above, though level design is a bit better but I do get confused sometimes with this.
Babe Land - 4; This one really sucks, level design is shit, gameplay is shit and full of little annoying glitches, stupid robo-pirates.
Pigsty - 7; A fun level but the design sucks - scaling is way off too.
Area 51 - 10; Always good to forget that stupid dipswitch combo and get stuck in that room down there, loads of stuff to kill too.
Going Postal - 8; Good enough, I hate the postal service though so I would enjoy this, but who could forget the explosives near the end?
XXX-Stacy - 9; Very dark level and looks very good, some problems with finding keys/switches though.
Critical Mass - 9; This level is always good fun, especially the trap rooms and the quaking floors.
Derelict - 10; Best level design overall, a long level but it sure should be, probably near the limit of the tech at that point, surprisingly hard to get lost though.
The Queen - 9; Better than the average boss level, mini-bosses and puzzles add to the challenge and what is that purple lava?

Bloodclaw, you seem not to like The Birth episode. What was so bad about Derelict? I thought that level had the best leveldesign in the game.

Ok, let me try...

Hollywood Holocaust 10 - great map for multiplayer, i really loved design of this map - simple, but so cool :) I would give some bonus points for DM :)
Red Light District 10 - design was really cool as well, i really enjoyed playing this map
Death Row 8.5
Toxic Dump 8
Launch Facility 8 - i always enjoyed playing this map, i don't know why
The Abyss 5.5 - this map was just boring to me
Faces of Death [no rating] - hmm, since this is DM map it is hard to play it, i got to say that for some reason i've never played it with anyone o.0

Spaceport 7 - this map always gives me feeling that i'm really on space port, really nice made
Incubator 7
Warp Factor 9.5 - nicely made ship from well-known tv show :D However Enterprise was bit bigger.
Fusion Station 9
Occupied Territory 9
Spin Cycle 5 - little booring one
Tiberius Station 6.5
Lunar Reactor 7.5
Dark Side 10
Lunatic Fringe 4
Overlord 8

Raw Meat 8 - i really enjoyed this one. I've also liked the multiplayer on this map
Bank Roll 7 - pretty funny map, however that office, accessed by elevator was too empty, they could add something there
Flood Zone 8 - i really liked this one. It was fun to swim in flood city :D
L.A. Rumble 9 - this one had this "thing". Great for multiplayer as well.
Movie Set 7
Tier Drops 5 - really interresting floor-over-floor effect, however it was just boring as for single player map. However it is pretty nice fun in DM
Rabid Transit 8 - i liked traveling over that subway, however they could make bit more stations, to do this map more interesting, longer
Fahrenheit 7
Hotel Hell 10 - it was one of my favourite maps when i was younger. I just loved that one, and i still do :D
Freeway 9
Stadium 5 - stadium? Such a small one?

It's Impossible 6 - I think this one could be better, i found it bit borring
Duke-Burger 8 - funny level.
Shop-N-Bag 6 - Every time i got lost in the market :D
Babe Land 8 - It was nice to travel over such a park
Pigsty 7
Area 51 8
Going Postal 7
XXX-Stacy 8 - it was nice to finnally see "the sisters" from all the pics on walls :D
Critical Mass 9 - really nice level, i liked it mostly because of much action in this level
Derelict 9 - interresting one.
The Queen 6 - the one map supporting Duke Tag, but in single player, it is just boring to do the sime thing twice.

warp factor is based on the enterprise? omg I didn't notice that until now, but it makes sense

and it was actually pretty interesting to read through all that and know what other people think about the levels, I might make one when I get time

haha that's totally cool, I'm going to enjoy that level a whole lot more now :)

what's that area in the top left corner though? it looks like it could be a bridge but it's quite lacking in details...
i've never seen it before either

It is a secret area. I've never been there o.0 i can see 2 secrets there. I can see some elevator, that is enterance... funny, i will have to check that in game ;>

"Hmm, looks like I have the con!"
You really should check that secret out, I can't really remember how to get in there myself though now I think of it. I'm sure the XBLA walkthrough will remind me though.
I edited my above post and added a little about each level.
I also edited this one because I forgot to write most of it.

Hollywood Holocaust - 9 - What I like the most about the level is the non-linearity; there are so many different ways you can tackle it with all the different routes. Without a doubt the most memorable level in the game.
Red Light District - 10 - The best city map in the game; it has all the aspects of what makes a really good city map. And not only that but it's just so much fun to play.
Death Row - 8 - A bit lackluster compared to the previous level and the submarine at the end could've been so much better but Death Row still manages to be a fun level with some impressive level design and architecture. Also contains one of the more memorable easter egg in the game.
Toxic Dump - 7 - Unfortunately Toxic Dump takes a dive for the worse with some bland and uninspiring gameplay, though the part in which you need to shrink in order to progress is indeed a really good part. However it does contain some interesting combat both on land and underwater.
Launch Facility - 10 - If it wasn't for Red Light District I'd say that Launch Facility would be the best level in the episode. The beginning is indeed a bit bland but if you'd see what you would do later in the level I doubt you'd really mind. I just find this level really fun to play and explore.
The Abyss - 7 - Arguably one of the most hated level in the game due to it's large size, non-linearity and being very obscure of what you need to do in order to progress. Still, once you know what to do, it can still be an enjoyable level. It's quite impressive to look at due to its sheer size.
Faces of Death - 3 - Okay, obviously this isn't really meant to be a singleplayer level due to the fact that it doesn't even contain a level exit sign. Either way, the only enemy you encounter are Mini-Battlelord's and you fight these in relatively cramped rooms and thus it's unforgivingly difficult. Needless to say, it's a fairly shitty map and not fun to play at all. Perhaps it's fun in multiplayer, as it was designed for, but, lets face it, for singleplayer it just doesn't work.

Spaceport - 9 - A good start in this space episode. Some really strong shading present here which really sets the mood for the rest of the episode. Always liked this level.
Incubator - 8 - Not as good as Spaceport but it still manages to be fun to play. What this level is most likely remembered from is the Octabrain hive and the large amount of Protozoid Slimers and eggs you encounter near the end.
Warp Factor - 8 - A great level with a very moody soundtrack. Contains some cramped combat and annoyingly you need to fight a large amount of Sentry Drones in these corridors. Also, though it can be hard to spot there's a very memorable secret area you can find here as well.
Fusion Station - 7 - A large level; architecture is fairly impressive but I find it quite bland to look at. Despite it's size it's not really that hard, not as The Abyss at least, and if you have a jetpack you can use it to go all the way up to the nuke sign. Interestingly it doesn't have any key cards whatsoever which I've always liked.
Occupied Territory - 6 - Compared to the previous level this is quite small and very linear. However, it's also one of the most difficult level in the episode depending on what difficulty you're playing on. Still, a fairly bland level with not much to go by. I've always found the part with the blue key card annoyingly difficult.
Spin Cycle - 4 - Another multiplayer map which wasn't designed for singleplayer. Interesting design with the large circular spinning track but otherwise very bland and quite tedious to play through as you're just running around throwing switches back and forth in rooms that all look alike.
Tiberius Station - 8 - A great level. Again you're back into the more clean areas of the station and it's a welcome relief compared to the two previous fairly dull levels. Nothing really stands out here but it still manages to be a fun experience and it's definitely good at what is does. Very fun to play actually.
Lunar Reactor - 9 - A large level which I always found a bit intimidating at first. Contains a few memorable areas such as the large cave with the abyss in which you need to jump over; there's also an awesome easter egg there. Near the end you will also need to blow up the reactor core which results in lots of eye candy - gotta love it! Either way, a great and fun level for me which sets the mood for the next level.
Dark Side - 10 - Finally comes my personal favorite of all the levels in this episode. It's just so fun to play and also the moody and ambient soundtrack is easily one of the best in the game. Dark Side is a big level containing a large amount of different areas and lots amount of combat. It's also another one of those levels in which you can skip a large amount of the level if you have the jetpack in your possession. Near the end there's a memorable homage to a great movie as well.
Lunatic Fringe - 5 - Yet another multiplayer map; this one is very small and can be completed in just a few minutes. The symmetrical construction is quite neat however. I also find it fairly difficult when fighting a bunch of Mini-Battelord's in tight spaces.
Overlord - 8 - This level doesn't take place on any space station or moon base as you previously went through but rather inside a alien space station. As with a few other levels a huge chunk, basically the whole level, can be skipped near the beginning. Arguably the more memorable part, at least my favorite, is the boss chamber at the end which contains lots of Protozoid Eggs that can be destroyed by triggering a chain reaction of explosions. Definitely a fun level only weakened by the fairly easy boss battle against the Overlord.

Raw Meat - 8 - A great fun level to play. I've always found the soundtrack a bit haunting, especially when you're looking at the body parts on the plates slowly moving across the table.
Bank Roll - 7 - A good beginning but somehow I've always disliked the level once you enter the bank, don't know if it has something to do with the annoying puzzle in which you need to acquire the red key card.
Flood Zone - 8 - An interesting level. What I like the most is the half land and half underwater gameplay. I always used to watch the demo playback on this level back in the days, don't know why. :)
L.A. Rumble - 8 - Another good map which is great fun to play. Always liked the part once you reach the top of the building after riding the elevator and having to jump on the half destroyed building with the large sign, then jumping through the small window was always nerve-racking.
Movie Set - 7 - Definitely a good level although personally I wish it would've been bigger than it was.
Tier Drops - 5 - Interesting level which is the hardest bunch of all in this episode. Originally a multiplayer map obviously but it actually works as singleplayer as well. It can be fun unless you blow up all the girls and have to fight several Mini-Battlelord's. Yikes.
Rabid Transit - 7 - Good concept although I've always found this level fairly dull to play and not as difficult as it should've been. Personally I prefer the reincarnation found in the Nintendo 64 version.
Fahrenheit - 8 - Great fun to play though I've always found the fire station terrible design wise to say the least; very bland with nothing to explore which is a shame considering the rest of the level is quite good especially the radio station - K.TIT!
Hotel Hell - 9 - If it weren't for Freeway this level would beat the crap out of the rest of the levels in the episode. Great level design with nice sector over sector work. Most importantly it's hella fun to play.
Freeway - 9 - Most likely my favorite level of the bunch. Always liked how you start in the shitty sewers and work your way up to the freeway while being shot at from all directions by RPV's and Pig Cops. "Terminated!"
Stadium - 6 - Design wise this level is extremely flat and dull, however I've always found it fun to play and mess around in. Fighting a big ass boss in a football field with cheerleaders on opposite sides... that's just rad.

It's Impossible - 9 - Gotta love this soundtrack! A great fun level containing lots of movie references. When thinking of Episode 4 this map always keeps popping up in my head.
Duke-Burger - 9 - Yet another great level. It's not particularly large in size but it's very fun to play. I always liked the fact that you can ignore the blue key card and thus skip a bit of the level.
Shop-N-Bag - 8 - Not as good as the two previous strong levels but Shop-N-Bag still manages to be an enjoyable experience throughout. Only thing I dislike it the last part with the crushers; goddamn things are hard to control.
Babe Land - 9 - One of the best levels in the episode. Quite large with lots of areas to explore; best thing about it is that it actually feels like some sort of theme park.
Pigsty - 7 - Fun but unfortunately quite bland level. The beginning is awesome however and the fight in the court room is crazy.
Area 51 - 10 - Oh yes, my personal favorite in the entire episode. I've liked these types of maps in which you begin in some isolated area but later on after making some progress you find yourself just outside a large base. Ridiculously fun level with a really epic ending.
Going Postal - 8 - A fairly good level but once you reach 3 quarters of it shit really starts to hit the fan. The ending is one of the most craziest battle you'll have in the entire game. Love it!
XXX-Stacy - 6 - Very misleading title unfortunately; "take a generic stick and slap this level with it" would be more fitting. The beginning is good but unfortunately everything takes a nosedive to the worse once you reach the outside. It's fun but could've been so much better.
Critical Mass - 7 - Another fairly generic map. Decent intro but once you reach the inner facility things turn to the better. Very linear level though and not much to explore.
Derelict - 9 - Derelict is a ridiculously huge level which is so non-linear that getting lost is something you ought to do even when only taking a look at the hull of the huge boat. Still, despite being almost too big for my taste, it's a very fun level once you played through it a few times and get the hang of it. It's a difficult level surely but it's still doable if you have the patience.
The Queen - 10 - Arguably one of the least liked level in the episode due to its weird alien-like design and tough final battle. However, personally, I just love it. Everything looks the same true, especially because of its symmetrical design, but with the use of common sense it's actually a very easy level.

Oh, Christ. Wall-o-text. :)

I'd always thought it was some kind of acid that the queen makes with some kind of gland as a defense mechanism and the aliens pump it along the entrance or something like that.

My scores are pretty much based on gut-feelings based on how much fun I remember myself having years ago. With most high rating maps it's probably just nostalgia or something. (Spaceport, HH, Raw Meat)

How can someone like a map for cutting parts out of it?

In this case, Hotel Hell is the best level ever made, since you can finish it in a matter of seconds.

Wow, Fusion Station is so low, or Occuppied Territory? I thought they were very well made levels.

It seem most people like Dark Side, Freeway, Duke Burger, Area 51, Derelict.

The sudden architectural shift from metallic/chrome in Warp Factor to alien green in Fusion Station (and back again in Occupied Territory) is kind of jarring. The level architecturally didn't make any sense to me. Also, if the player had kept the jetpack in Spaceport, Duke could just fly past 90% of the level straight to the exit room. Occupied Territory is just an extremely frustrating level, especially that one section with 3+ Battlelords in a cramped, darkened room.

Dark Side is a nice and atmospheric level that's reasonably challenging without being a hair-pulling experience. Freeway had that nice old-school feel to it compared to the rest of the episode (probably because it was an Allen Blum level; the other levels were designed by Levelord). Area 51 was just well-designed all around, and not a bad representation of Area 51, given all of the other ones out there (TR3's still my favorite in that regard, though). Derelict is just awe-inspiring, and truly a breakthrough in level design. It could've (and should've) been the last level of the episode.
